We are a Qld Transport Approved Inspection Station, which means we can check that your car complies with Qld Transport safety standards and issue you the relevant certificate prior to the vehicle sale or registration of your car.
And if your car is unregistered, we have 'dealer plates', which means we can get your car to our workshop to check it over without expensive towing fees.
During the safety inspection, we look at all aspects that could affect the safety of your car, including brakes, tyres, steering, suspension, windscreen, lights and body damage or rust.
A safety inspection will only tell you if you are compliant to QLD Transport safety standards, and will not tell you if your car has any mechanical or other problems. If you want full peace of mind (or want to make your car more attractive to potential buyers), combine your safety certificate check with one of our pre-purchase inspections.
One thing to remember, if you are selling your car, you must have a Qld Safety Certificate from the moment it is offered for sale (unless you are selling your car unregistered or are trading it to a dealer).
Is the car you are buying a gem or a lemon? The only way to know for sure is with a thorough and detailed pre-purchase inspection, where we go over the car with a fine-toothed comb, as if we were buying it for one of our own family.
We will give you a comprehensive report on the condition of all of the major systems in the car, and give you an estimate of the cost and the priorities for any car repairs.
That way you know what you are getting yourself into before you part with your hard-earned cash, or put the safety of yourself, friends and family on the line.
